SiS 651 support?

Anyone know if the SiS 651 supports 800x480 resolution? I checked their website and googled/newgrouped and could not find any info. Does anyone know any integrated chipsets that DO support this?

Secondly, What is everyone's experience running widescreen DVDs on a 7" screen @ 800x600? Does the quality look ok? What tweaks (if any) did you do to fix quality? I'm trying to avoid returning this otherwise awesome little machine that I can't get anything other than 800x600 (and higher) out of. Thanks

Pretty much no SiS chipsets support 800x480. When powerstrip mentions some SiS chipsets, it means it can fudge the timing numbers, but it still cannot do custom resolutions for SiS. I think there is a nForce mobo that uses nvidia chipsets and those do work.
