Post To Anyone who purchased a Seiko 4024b from EIO

Well I finally found the frickin problem with getting my lcd working, and to anyone who bought one please be aware.
I was getting really nothing but garbage after hooking up my lcd as per Nathan Stewarts NEW connection diagram for the 4034. Barry at EIO says on his page that they are the same pinouts however they are not! On the 4034 and up pins 1-8 are DB7-DB0 and in the 4024 pins 1-8 are DB0-DB7, they are reversed, unfortunatly for me after switching mine to proper it is working worse (most likely dead when I got it or fried by the wrong pinout information that eio gave me)So good luck to everyone and hopefully Barry will get back to me soon.

I don't think you could screw up the display by reversing the signal lines, unless you put 5v or something on it.
But I could be wrong,
Maybe someone else knows about this.

Yeah, I've put the data lines on wrong, and nothing bad happened when I fixed the error... It's the 5v to the data lines which really screws it up (trust me, I know )

The 5v was one thing that I made sure was always on the right line. So I am pretty sure it was just dead on arrival. I just have to wait to hear back from eio about it, however long that may take I guess.
