Image Quality

I'm a newbie looking for advice.

I have a Dell Latitude CPX laptop that I'm using to run GPS(DeLorme) and MP3s.

When I hook the laptop to a television or my 7" TFT LCD Color Monitor, the picture is a bit blurry.

What can I do to sharpen my picture?

I assume the TFT LCD is composite.

You need a VGA monitor....simple as that really.

By composite, if you mean does the monitor have rca connections on the back, yes.

So I need a monitor with a vga connection on the back?

Yes m8, rca is composite. If you have a read through this section of the forum you'll see lots of threads on this very subject of image quality on composite monitors...

Eg... http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/lcd-display/49618-could-you-live-composite-instead-vga.html
