Is there any way to use/incorporate a touch screen lcd into this unit? or at least replace the scratched screen without replacing the whole unit? ..So far i havent been able to even find the manufacturer or model name of the stock unit so i can find some replacement parts.
You would need to remove the screen and apply an appropriately-sized touchkit to the screen. DigitalWW sells them in common screen sizes.
Bear in mind that a screen that only has a composite input (the yellow RCA video jack) is going to have a marginally acceptal display
AT BEST.
