Do these panels accept LVDS signals or their own propietary control signal? it would seem from the block diagram in the datasheet that they take LVDS but let me know

Thanks

What the heck would I do with a 26" LCD you are asking yourself.
Well here are a few hints....
In your RV, or a flip down screen in a large SUV, in your bedroom, in a picture frame or the best idea I have come up with yet is to combine 9 of these and a video wall controller to create one hell of a large format display for your rock band that is on a world tour...

PS I will post some pictures of the units ASAP

I would be interested too. From the specs it looks like the backlight and possibly inverter are builtin so what else is needed to get this up and running??

I am working on getting a controller from Digital View
They have a really nice DVI-D, Component, Analog VGA, SVHS controller that should work with the panel. I will do some testing as soon as I can get a controller. There are a few other companies that have LVDS controllers out there also...

Did I read right that the inverter requires 24VDC?

Here is the info I recieved from Digital View Today about Controlers for these Panels.

"Hi Dan,
The following controllers will support this resolution:
AVP-1280
SV-1600
DVI-1600

You can look at the boards on our website and choose the one that has the features your looking for. These all require an LVDS interface board, which we also supply. We would need a pdf spec. on the panel to verify that we have a cable that will connect. All of our controller products are sold through distribution. Our distributors can be found @ http://www.digitalview.com/controlle...th_america.php

Regards,
Tim"

I believe the onboard LVDS controlers should be able to control the panel, The controlers I am talking about is so you can use a DVI, VGA, SVHS or Composite signal as your source.
