Post where to by parallel socket thing

I'm going to buy an lcd but I'm not sure where I can buy the parallel cable with socket on the end which u solder onto it. Can someone tell me where I can get it from? It has to be a place which will deliver to uk.

Just buy any cable with an end on it which will plug into your computer... then cut the other end and solder it to the LCD... Or buy an AT style connector (with the IDE style connector on one side). Then cut the IDE side off, and solder it to the LCD... this will make it easily removable. Just make sure that you get a cable with the right ends on it.

your Mother board doesn't have a parallel port?!?!? Are you serious?

I'm sure you can find a PCI add-on card, but I'm not sure where in the UK

You should be able to find it at most electronic parts stores. Miles was right that it is the parallel plug for an AT motherboard that I use, I buy them for $2 at a local electronic store.
