Ok I have contacted ebay, it took ages to find anywhere to send it. I have reported selling items you claim have in stock but actually don't and shipping items known to be faulty as possible fraud.

Lets se what happens.

Ps It's cravex not carvex!!!

Cravex7 - Why don't you post the links where you found that so everyone can go and report the same exact issue. This would make our case a lot stronger against Ex-Audio if they plan on screwing us over on the shipping.

Opp's that’s two complaints then because I have just figured out how to send a complaint, well it needed doing.(well done carvex)

The Link I used
http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayIS...rCreateDispute

My Complaint

Item number: 5784360857
Payment Method: PayPal
Date of Payment: 07/01/05
Dispute Resolution: None used
Seller Contact: Yes, But the issue is unresolved

Customer concern: I would like to make it known for other people’s sake
that this seller is advertising goods he doesn’t have in stock,
When you make payment you receive a mail telling you the manufacturer
is having problems with this item and we should have stock in two weeks
but the add says quantity 200.
When you ask two weeks later, you just receive the same mail. Now they
are having a meeting with the manufacturer for three days and will not
answer emails until they get back but they still sell them on eBay
knowing they do not have any stock.
Some customers have received there item 1 1/2 months later but they
don’t work or stop working after a few days.
Please read the complaints on the forum link below, none of them have
reported the seller but the way this seller is operating is against eBay
rules surely.

Lilliput knows about this thread, Ex-audio knows about this thread, Ebay now knows about this thread....but I doubt that anyone will actually do anything about this!

Well they do now.

Hi,

Lilliput will release us about 15-20 monitors next week. So, our shipping department will make arrangement to your product. Once your parcel has been sent, the shipping staff will email you the tracking number, so you can keep track of the parcel status.

Do I believe the last one don't think so, that’s all I ever get from them, next week next, month, next year who knows

I think I'm going to chancel mine and chose a different make, trouble is I need a separate amp then, I already have a Stock BMW HK amp in the boot of my Z3 could I use this without the radio?

What’s the most unreflective motorised VGA screen on the market at the moment?

I looked at the Xenarc in-dash unit but it isn't motorised, seems like it is spring loaded or something! I guess it must spring out and have to be pushed back in by hand. Can anybody confirm this?

I too would like to find an alternative monitor now. I didn't buy one yet, but now there is no way I am going to get one.

I will have to fit an amp instead and hopefully shoe-horn it behind the dash somewhere as I can't fit anything in my boot. What a pain!

I am sure I saw an advertisment somewhere for an in-dash monitor with metal gears etc. Don't know how reflective the screen is though, or what make. I will have to search for it again unless someone knows of a good in-dash monitor they can recommend?

I guess Stephen Sin is back from his meeting. I wonder how that went. Anyways, they agreed to send me a new vga cable. I'll see if that solves the problem. Hopefully, they'll send it express, like they did the unit. *fingers crossed*

Let's look at it this way. We paid FAR LESS than what others are offering this monitor for. If you look at digitialww, they have it listed at $650. Again, as long as I get a working unit, I'll be happy.

As for the glare issue, I haven't tested it in sunlight yet. Is there some sort of film we can put on top of the screen to reduce the glare (without affecting the touch screen)?

That's the same email I was sent last week and I have been tracking my package the last 2 days. I should get it sometime today. I'm still crossing my fingers that it will work correctly.

You guys will eventually get your monitors. The question is, WILL THEY WORK.

I paid them back on June 11, and I didn't get mine until July 18 or something.

I can't get the link to work if I paste it, however I bought through ebay UK (ebay.co.uk) and so I guess you'll need to contact ebay.com

I have recieved a reply from Stephen Sin, it just appears to be a standard reply saying send it back and we'll repair it. Since we've been told to wait for the outcome of the lilliput meeting I want a better answer than that!

First of all if you want to buy the monitor use German Ebay. Its 299 Euros there so you will save some bucks! The motor issues have been fixed. However, it seems that ex-audio and therefore Lilliput recieved so much pressure (emails) to release the units that they gave ex-audio some old ones, however from what I know, they didnt give them for ex-audio to sell them. Lilliput is quite angry with Ex-audio, they even said that they are not going to give them any new screens. Therefore I guess, the meating with Lilliput and Ex-audio, in order to try and calm things down.

I know some info, but I am not the expert on this subject. However, I must say that I HAVE ordered a screen from them (Ex-audio) and I knew about the motor issues. My info says and I am confident that the next screeens that will be sent out will be tested and then shipped. Thats all for now!
