Hi BikeBoy24
Your credit car company won't help,
Pay-Pal take's one month for a claim but at least you would get a full refund apart from the postage both ways.
You would probably be better sending it back for a replacement rather than waiting for the parts to arrive.
Personally, I would report it to eBay and then let pay-pal deal with your claim, ether way the unit will need to be returned.
What a mess, I hope to god mine works when it comes, if in doesn’t you can try my VGA cable with pleasure, In fact if someone on this forum is sending there’s back they could swap cables with you first.

Well, you'll probably be waiting a loooooong time for it.
BTW, you know they are STILL SELLING them on ebay? Even with all these problems. What a joke.
Actually, when I paid for mine with my credit card, through paypal, my credit card company (VISA) actually intercepted the transaction, and told me they were from HK. I had to OK the transaction first. Maybe they had a previous experience with this company through paypal. I do think the credit card company can do something about it. If not for my particular case, for future victims.
Maybe if we pool all our parts together, we can get one working unit.

Well I'm supposed to be on next week’s list for shipping.
Unfortunately, after you Ok’d it they won’t help because it's not a UK seller,
They also intercepted mine, when I asked why they said it was just an unusual transaction for me to make.
I also can’t believe ex-audio are still selling them after a few members have already complained to eBay about it, but another buyer did leave good feedback again today so not everyone is faulty.
Pooling the parts might be the answer but in my case it will be in the swimming pool if it doesn’t work because it’s taking over my life at the moment.

Could someone start a new thread with a voting poll something like "For those who have the lilliput in dash motorised 7 - Does it work?" then a yes or no poll just to give us an idea of how many of these are faulty.
I'd do it myself but I can't figure out how to start a poll.
Thanks.

Well I had a go after reading the instructions in the FQA,
To create a poll when you post a new thread, simply click the 'Yes! post a poll' checkbox at the bottom of the page, and set the number of possible responses you want to include.
I didn’t get this option when posting what did I do wrong?

Pah, I wish - Nothing at all from ex-audio. Lilliput never replied to me at all and the last thing from ex was just a standard reply saying return it for a repair. Looks like it'll have to be claimed back through either paypal or the credit card, I know people say that the credit card won't work but I'm going to try whatever i can to recover it. Ebay never replied to me either. Great customer service all round really....

Well I can believe Lilliput didn’t reply because I've tried four times and not had one reply, ex-audio however did reply last week and told me I'm on the list for the next batch.
I would try eBay again; I got a reply from them the day after I complained.
I had a claim a few months ago for 250.00, tried the credit card company and they didn’t want to know, I ended going through pay-pal they were very good, I received a full refund, just make sure you get every point over in the first letter because you only get one chance to contact them by mail.
Good Luck

Sounds like your having the same problem as BikeBoy24, go back to page nine
on this thread and see what he says about it, or you could PM him.

I mailed a recent eBay buyer last week and asked him if his was OK, this is his reply, it may help some of you.
So far so good, screen is crisp it took awile to get it because of the motor problem but that is not the sellers fault drivers that come with it did not work had to take three dirrerent drivers and mix them up to make the touch screen work

I had the same problem. Try wiggling the cable around, near the 9 pin connector. I am waiting for ex-audio to send me another cable, which will probably be in another month
Hopefully that will solve the problem.

Update:
Stephen sent me an email back about the cable.
"we already ship the cable to you , Please don't worry , it will take 5-7 day."
I am very confused. First I was told 8-17 days by their sales representitive, now I'm being told not to worry, and to wait only 5-7 days. I believe I'm being toyed with. They did not give me a tracking number either.
I asked them about the WARRANTY. The warrnaty period is a year I believe. however, by the time I get this to work, 2 months of the 12 will be gone already. Technically, shouldn't the warranty begin when you get a WORKING UNIT? My unit has been out of comission since I got it.
To the ones that have not gotten their screens yet, take this as a GOOD THING. Maybe you'll get a newer revision with fewer problems. You got the screen at the same price, but probably better quality. Remember that this screen is selling elsewhere for $650 USD, not including the shipping.

Very confusing as I haven’t received my screen yet although I did mail them a week ago to ask about the problems people were having and could he clarify the situation, but this reply doesn’t make much sense.
