He probably has a list of replies to choose from.
He's probably been flooded with emails, and can't keep track of what's what.

I just got a rather bizaar reply stating:
"HI,
we do get all the fastest product in the world , this In-dash screen is final verson, we are only authorized seller on ebay , do you think Lilliput will give me some not good screen to sell ? No , it will cause a great damage to Lilliput's reputation. But I think the problem is the packing of the item. I think the in-dash screen need more protect . Please let me handle this problem , I am sure you will replace the good screen that you might want.
by the way ,I am sorry about the late reply ."

Talk about banging your head against a brick wall.
It must be difficult if he's not English but if you want to sell in the UK you must be prepared to answer mail in English.

I don't know about you guys, but mine came in a plain box, with nothing on it. It looked like OEM packaging or something.

I am actually considering selling my unit. It works fine, I had some problems at first, but its working now after fiddling with it. Would anyone be interested in buying my screen. I had it for only a couple weeks and it works perfectly, just doen't fit well in my car. I'd let it go for $400 + shipping if anyone wants it before I put it on eBay.

It is practically new, barely used. I will keep you in mind if I can't get more, but it's worth more than $300.

For what it's worth we have chosen not to stock this monitor in the mp3car store do to reliability concerns and support concerns. I have no doubt that in a couple of months the quality will be good enough for us to stock them. I met the engineer who designed that in dash monitor and I’m going to visit the factory next month to in China to personally inspect the production of the monitors.

kicker-
Ex-Audio agreed to take my unit back for a new one at thier cost. I just don't really see what is wrong with this one. If you want it for the $400 SHIPPED, I can send it back to them for a new one. I'm just not sure it's necessary.

That’s good; I wonder if Carvex has been offered the same deal, I do hope so.

Not so far! I'm going to reply to that Stephen Sin again and see what happens with the high reflectivity of the screen and the obvious motor problems I really don't think I want another - Plus there's no guarentee that they won't keep me waiting for 'stock' to arrive. Actually they've only offered to repair not replace my screen.

Mine too, just brown box. I started doing a review of it over on another site as I was one of the first recipients and one of my first comments was that apart from the one badge on the screen nothing else says lilliput, the orginal picture on ex-audio shows a lilliput badge on the closed monitor that's not on mine, the manual doesn't say lilliput and neither does the box.. Indicative of a test model???

It's the thread over on digital car, it started as a review but turned into a warning on the problems.
