I'm not out for anyone's head, but I do want to be heard, and I wanted to be treated how a customer should be treated, with respect.
Has anyone had any success with getting a refund or return?
Also, here's the reply they gave me. They want ME to pay for the express shipping charges. Unbelieveable. I sent them a piece of my mind. I was just shaking my head when I read this. I have never experienced such bad business practice.
"Hi,
I have just checked with the shipping staff that we don't have the cable on hand. We are waiting for Lilliput to give us the spare parts. 8-17 days delivery is shipped by airmail. Do you have any comment? Are you willing to pay for express shipping in order to get it sooner when it is available? Thank you!"
BikeBoy Have you read this notice from ex-audio's return policy, I wonder if the replacement comes with a new set of cables, if it does, there must be a few spare cables about.
1) Please send the product back to us by airmail and we will examine it and arrange a replacement. (Please send the unit with original packing, we do not need any cable and wiring for replacement) We will send the unit back to the manufacturer.

I finally got my alarm installed on Friday. And Yesterday I attempted to install the Lilliput in-dash HU. And it finally happened. Yup you guessed it, now the screen does not flip out any longer. My unit was working fine before I connected the wires for the radio (Auto Ant). It got stuck right after I pushed the radio button; the screen mechanism stopped working altogether. After a few seconds of pressing the On/Off TFT Screen botton it just beeps twice (??).
Also the speaker wire labels for my HU was totally *** backwards, which leads me to believe that all the wiring for this HU are wrong. I was successful in getting 3 of the 4 speakers connections hooked up the way it should, however, I was unable to get any sound to play from the front right speaker. And I know it wasn’t nothing wrong with my speaker because ita working fine now after installing my factory stereo back into my car.
I'm so fudging ****ed at LilliSUCK right now...

I’m really sorry to hear that but I can’t say I’m surprised, I never even got as far as wiring my speakers up,
This might be a daft question but have you tried it with all the speakers disconnected.

Still waiting for a reply from ex-audio but after the post today I’m unsure what steps to take.
I think all three of us should see if we get satisfaction, if we don’t then we put all three bad feedbacks in on the same day, sorry four counting carvex

Product. In-Dash Monitor <GL701-NP/C>
Supplied. Ex-Audio
Problems. Worked for 5 days until the motor froze, now only the radio works
Comments. "Hold back until they get this product right." Seconded, this has all the makings of being the best in-dash ever, nice attention to detail the button lights even fade out when in use but right now it is completely useless and they are failing all over the place
Out come. On going...
Rating:
Ex-audio 3/10 They deny there is a problem and are pushing for people to pay for the returns even though this is clearly a batch fault. They are also trying to get people to swap them for another of the same even though they don't have stock - And yes you've guessed it they are still selling them on ebay despite having no stock
Lilliput 0/10 Never replied to a single email, appear to have washed their hands of this problem, what amazing customer service..

I think you're on to something here, I never intended to use mine for the audio but I hooked up the speakers as I was doing a review of it. I attached all the speakers but only 3 out of 4 worked, it was whilst they were connected that the motor stopped working, I just assumed that one speaker wire had got caught behind the dash and disconnected. Somebody did ask why there was a fuse on the acc wire, maybe the wires are labled wrong and this is causing the motors to fry??
