Haven't been shipped at all. Been close to a month and i file report with paypal. They told me if not tracking til money or respone from them, then i get my money back.

I think if you connected the switched wire to the battery and not the ignition that would do the trick, obviously you would need a manual switch inline so you could turn it on and off.

I’ve never heard such a load of crap in my life, just received this insulting mail from ex-audio, how the fu*k can a disc get scratch in transit when its inside a case contained in a box.

I do believe they have just admitted to fraud as well.

Our technicans have looked your photos.
They promise me that the item you got is brand new.
Firstly, the item is brand new and all the customers are waiting to receive this product.
Every monitor we sent out is checked seriously.
For the CD case is broken and the disk is scratch and used, our technicans acknowledge that they are damaged during delivery.
Besides, I have contacted the shipping department about the invoice price $79.00.
They explains it is due to the import tax.
Since every item imports to other countries will be charged tax, our shipping staff help each customer to declare as a lower value.
I understand you are disappointed and angry about this.
But please send the product back to me.
If it does not work, I realize the best way is giving a new one to you.

LOL, I see!

UPS called me I would have to pay 25Euros for TAX on Delivery. However when the delivery guy came, I mentioned it and he said that he wasnt informed and he couldn't accept the amount! Youpeee!

Now the bad thing is that I havent opened it yet! Will have to wait for a couple of days, since I am in Hospital for a routine surgery

You may get an invoice in the post later, so don't count you chickens just yet.

How can you send mail if your in hospital, I've been in for four opps in the last two years but they don't have internet for patients.

Hello,

I endly finished to read this 30 pages post

I received my unit last week ( on thursday ), as I was N°6 on Ex-audio's payement list. I didn't had any duties taxes ( they used Fedex.... ), if I read well I'd be the only one here...

I've spent my week-end in connecting/unconnecting from my car as it's too deep for my DIN, and when enter it at maximum, screen can't open correctly because of the air grid next up to the DIN which come a little bit out of the dashboard... ;(
To speak a little bit of your major pb :
1) my motor still work for the moment, as I've tried to open/close it a couple of times. Some time, when it has no video/VGA input and I open it, screen open at maximum ( then touch the air grid ), beeps twice and close after 2 seconds. The only ways I founded to fix this up were : a) unplug it, the replug it, and if it doesn't work b) put it in radio mode ( either with the button; or with the RC, when button doesn't work.... )
2) Radio mode works fine,
3) my only problem is with the "Down" button ( or "Scan -" on the RC ) when the screen is opened... it only works about 2 times for about 100 pressures ;(( As I often disconnect the lilliput, it doesn't remember the old screen position, and then adjustement is nearly impossible )

I wrote to Stephen Sin which one offered me to send me another RC, but I explained him that it doesn't seem to be a remote problem, as screen button (Down) panel doesn't work too... I'm waiting his answer now.

( I encountered scaling pb with the TSK, but I've updated the drivers today, and I'll try a calibration later.... )..

I didn't tried Video input, that's for tonight

but, for the moment, only sound (no vid ) on Video1 works fine.
VGA+sound works fine too.

Else:
At the beginning I had connected the Auto antenna wire and the only thing it could has messed up could be this "down button"...
For now POUR and Auto Ant aren't connected.
BATT is connected to permanent positive and VCC is conected to ignition power.
I didn't tried TV as TV antenna are nearly unfoundable here in France, I need to order it elsewhere.
VGA works perfectly with my laptop as I don't have CAR PC for the moment...
The only way for me to the screen to open correctly ( IFO open-> Beep.Beeep-> then close 2 sec after ) is to put the unit in radio mode before stopping the car.
Reflectivity is an horror!!! nearly impossible to see correctly the screen on day! I need a solution for this.

I will, I think I'm going to phone the credit card company tomorrow out of interest but I won't expect too much.
At the moment I'm just angling for a credit note I don't want another one, aside from the knackered motor the high reflectivity is going to get on my nerves too.
