Yep the high reflectivity is going to be a big problem for me as well because I'm fitting it in a soft top or should I say was.
Let us know how you get on with the credit card company.
Personally I think I will just be a thorn in there side every day until I get a replacement and the faulty one collected at the same time.

I'm still waiting for my cable
As for the screen reflectivity, how can it be more reflective than a normal touch screen? Don't they all use pretty much the same panel?

Is yours still working then if you waggle the cable, did you see the codes that Bran55 posted for the VGA problem.

It never did work, even if I did wiggle the cable. I don't think the codes will work. I don't think it's a programming issue.

Sorry I thought you said you got it to work once when you waggled the cable.
To be on the safe side you might have been better sending the lot back for replacement, if the new cable doesn’t work you’re up the creak again.

re,
My lilliput must have ear me...LOL
This morning no way to keep the screen opened; each time 2 "bips" and it closes.
And none of my 2 tricks seem to work today.
Someone has another idea for this ?
( must I try the "vga code" ? )

Hello Forden
Well its sounds like your having more luck than most, but still this screen is not without its problems.
The only thing you will get from Stephen Sin is, send it back at your own cost so are engineers can have a look at it.
Who can blame him after all every piece of new equipment needs a full overhaul after a few days use doesn’t it.
Don’t worry about your English it’s as good as mine and I was born in England.

Hello
Sorry, we don't have any refund policy. Please ship back for replacement. If you like, please choose other items. Refund of price difference may be offered or additional payment is required for upgrading to other items.
1) Please send the product back to us by airmail (I suggest you to use the cheapest way to do) and we will examine it and arrange a replacement. (Please send the unit with original packing, we do not need any cable and wiring for replacement) We will send the unit back to the manufacturer.
(The manufacturer is located in Mainland China, we have to send the item and wait for them to return the replacement therefore the process may take a few days)
2) Send the damaged/faulty product (mark as warranty repair) to the following
address:
To: Stephen Sin
Blk.A, Rm.804,
Goldfield Industrial Centre,
No.1 Sui Wo Road ,Fo Tan,
New Territories,
HONG KONG.

Sure, is mate, been there done that.
I’ve mailed them at least 15 times and tried every trick in the book but the replies just say the same thing
It’s your fault you thought you could by a Lilliput product from ex-audio and expect it to work not ours; we have people queuing up to make the same mistake.
Please send it back so you can waste more money on shipping costs, and then we can start all over again.
Oh! and buy the way just in case you think you have rights we don’t give refunds.

Well, I got the new cable today. What I feared, is true. The unit is defective. Now I have to wait for instructions on what to do with it. 2 months, no working screen still...

Sorry to hear that M8 I really am.
I for one was hoping for some good reports to start appearing on the forum.
I’m now beginning to think we are all paying beta testers for Lilliput.
I just don’t know what to say to you mate because I’ve said on thing on the forum and then done the opposite my self thinking all would be OK in the end.
When and if I get a replacement and it turns out to be faulty I,am going to take it up with watch dog or somebody like that and see if they will strip it down and give there verdict.
Am I dreaming to even think they might be interested nobody eals seems to be.
