Hello,

i have the liliput too. the shipping did a long time (about 6weeks) because liliput stop the delivery. Ex-Audio told me, they have trouble with the Motor and mechanic. I now have the monitor about 3 weeks but i did not have the Time to built it in my car. I hope there will be no problems with it. i have tested it in my livingroom. it works.

I will tell you more about it, when i built it in my car.

PS. sorry for my bad english

Yes most problems start when the screen is built into the car! I wonder why....Could be regulation? I mean it may need 12V straight instead of the 12-15V of the car?

First reply back from chadcronin.

I've seen the thread. I was lucky with the exception of the left rear channel level dropping when the internal amp was active. However, last night I lost the right channel when using the vga input. Video 1 & 2 are fine. I started emailing last night - trying to get the dongle replaced. When I recieve a reply I will post to the thread.

Another buyer left good feedback today,

I’m trying to find a way of warning buyers before it’s too late, so far I’m looking at the History Purchases on eBay and mailing all the buyers on that list.

Any other ideas

Geez man you are committed to the cause!
Thats a great idea, I just don't have the time to do it myself - I guess that's the problem with ebay, personally I don't want to leave bad feedback until it's all sorted in case they start becoming obstinate

Well the problem now too is that people will get hammered with these bad things even if they use common sense... they see good feedback from other users so they order them, then they wait for them to arrive and plug them in, and go leave good feedback, which in turn motivates other users.

Problem is in a couple of days (or less) when the screens start acting up...

It sucks for the people that purchased the units, but for once I'm glad I'm not one of the early adopters out there...

Vendetta is the word I would have used

I haven’t left any feedback yet for the same reasons as you Carvex but god help them when I do.

Viguera, you’ve hit the nail on the head, they need to wait a few days before leavening any feedback.

You're a one man hate campaign!

Fair point, I can't understand why anyone would leave feedback for anything without having tried it for at least a week.

Ditto on the feedback, there just isn't enough space for all I have to say!!

Yeah, but it's a chicken/egg thing... you see that it's apparently working so you don't see a reason to hold off on the feedback, and that motivates other people, who do the same.

Sucks though, because then you're stuck with a piece of hardware that doesn't work, you already left positive feedback (so you can't use that as leverage) and more people get suckered into it because they don't know there are problems.

Can you retract feedback on ebay? I've never had to, but I imagine that if you got dealt a defective product -- that would crap out after a few days -- that ebay would let you try to resolve this by retracting the feedback until the vendor makes good on the sale or something...

Seeing how this is not isolated, it might be worth going that route... if everyone that has been having problems contacts ebay about the vendor and item specifically and tells them that they want to modify their feedback to negative/neutral -- or at least retract it until it's fixed.

Well I tried something along those lines in that I sent an email to ebay asking them that if the seller doesn't by their own admission have these items in stock but continues to sell them and knows that what they are shipping may have a problem does that not constitute fraud? I even referenced this thread saying see how many people here have contacted the seller regarding faulty items but all I got was an auto reply saying they take these matters seriously and nothing else. I think regal had a similar experience.

Yep Carvex is right, I went down that road notifying eBay but because off seller’s rights you don’t get to know the out come if any,
I also informed Pay Pal and got a thank you from them.

I’ve recently wrote to a major car audio magazine but they didn’t even have the decency to send me a reply, it looks like were on are own on this one,
I think to many people stand to lose money if they take action so they’d rather just let us suffer and hope we go away.
