no sound for PC, AV1, AV2

I would guess then that your speakers are wired up incorrectly, check that they are connected properly, having said that there is a stong suspicion that the cabling is labled wrong a few of us found that only 3 of 4 speakers worked.

I think the speakers are wired correctly since the radio is working just fine

I'll wait the "second" arrival of Lilliput here, or "Lilliput after having been back to Lilliput" before returning mine.
I've finished with going too fast!!! No I'll wait.

Well, according to them, they're getting 15-20 monitors a week.

Regal, Thank you for contacting me and pointing me toward this thread. I am Alanacg123

I just spent the last 3 hours reading through this... wow. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Here's what happened for me.
Paid july 13th, recieved (after 4 e-mails) Aug 8th.
I hooked it up according to aftermarket radio color standards (obviously wrong) and got limited functionality out of it.

I put it in my '01 BlaZeR2 that has the factory amplified sound system. I soon found out that the blue is NOT for amp turn on, but to let the system know when your in reverse to switch to video2.

so I hooked up the factory amp to the ignition wire and I got static!! yeay!
I was able to put the screen up and down.. probubally 8 times when I decided it's time to check out the balance and fading of the speakers, Totally wrong!

I figued I'd screw with it later and tried to plug in the radio antenna, the damn housing for the antenna jack got pushed inside the radio!

it was still working at this point, so I unplugged it and brought it back in the house to fix that jack and re-wire the wires so the speakers work right.

That was the last time the unit worked, now when I plug it in, I get a completely dead unit.. No radio function, NO video, No led's on the faceplate.

I am an electronics technician and know my way around electronics but this one has me completely baffeled. in the mean time I put my old kenwood back in and it works fine, it's not my wiring causing the problem.

I hate to say it, but I'm glad I'm not the only one having this bad experiance.

I left negative feedback for electronicar due to the LONG wait and selling items not in stock... and they had the balls to start up a mediation through squaretrade.com. This company is completely unbelievable. E-mails are unhelpful and canned at best, or no response at all at worst. If they were in the United States I would know exactly what I can do through the Better Business Bureau, but with them in china, hong kong, or wherever, I'm not sure what I can do.

Well, yet another one fails and I’ve just had a long letter today telling me all these are fully tested before they go out, and that the only problems are caused by the couriers.

Well done for leaving them a bad feed back,

Ha, in the letter they also said even if someone leaves a bad feedback we still do are utmost to help them, and to think I was starting to believe them.

I have tried my best to stop this happening to new buyers but I’m running out of ideas short of going to a solicitor, do we have one on the forum I wonder.

thinking twice

I'm thinking twice now of getting a replacement. Perhaps I should just ask for a refund and get the xenarc in dash instead.

Unfortunately, ex-audio insist on a replacement or pick another item of the same value,

The only way to get a refund would be to go though Pay Pal, surely with the overwhelming evidence on this forum alone you would be granted a full refund should you decide to claim.

Go for it, it’s the only way, don’t say I didn’t warn you all.

If there will be a trial....you have to travel to Hong-Kong.....forget it! My screen is still working, but I do not need a amp remote or anything just 12V and 2 out of 4 speakers...so I am fine at the moment! However, I am still trying to break that damn think to get a refund....I am sure it will sooner or later! I also want a refund! I am out of trust!

BTW V input is 10.8 to 13.8 which is NOT the normal range of a car. It may go over 14.5 sometimes!!!!

What a f**king joke, they just don’t seem to get any thing right,
When you return a faulty item to Ex-audio they ask you to put proof of payment & your address in with the screen in order to identify your item when you return it.

I checked with Target Express on Monday and they confirm the parcel was delivered and singed for on Saturday at 10.22; ex-audio didn’t notify me so I contacted them to tell them they had my screen. After two days, I’ve received a mail asking me for the bloody tracking No you dickheads.
I’m getting so tired of all this crap, what next

Sounds to me like the problems arise when you connect all four speakers up,

Try connecting some speakers to the other two and see what happens.
