But of course, they'd be smart enough to realize this and send all that stuff with the new unit right?

I was asked to send all the wiring and such, but that could be because I'm pushing for a refund rather than an exchange.

Well they should have received mine back yesterday, I asked them to confirm but they haven't so far. Has anyone had conformation of their unit being received?
Regal I think you sent yours about the same time as me, have they confirmed receipt of yours yet?

Good News, I think

Hi Peter,

The technicians have just examined the unit and confirmed it is faulty. However, we don't have stocks at this moment. We will arrange to send the replacement to you as soon as possible. Hopefully it will be sent out in next week. I will keep you informed later.

I was contacted by an a member of the board through ebay and asked to comment on my monitor's status. Well, Its junk. I have lost both front and rear channels on the left side, but only when in vga - it's fine on the other 3 inputs. Yesterday I lost the blue signal on vga, but both red and green are fine. All are fine on the other three inputs and on the 'OCD'. The screen has always rubbed against the top of the enclosure when opening and has damaged the magic warrenty sticker and now there is a squeaking sound from the right drive motor.

It's on its way back as soon as i can get it boxed.

Can anyone offer advice on how to best ship it? The quotes I recieved from both Fedex and ups were around 100 bucks. Stephen Sin has agreed to repay the cost of shipping but i wanted to verify he would honor the offer given the cost. He is apparently in China on buisiness through the weekend.

He's always on business.

Shipping back to HK is expensive anyway you cut it. I shipped it back through the Canadian postal service, using xpresspost. It'll take a week to get there. Ended up cosing me $61 CND.

Hi, sorry to hear about your problems, it was probably me that contacted you.

Try reading post No 574 on page 39 of this thread, one member was offered the use of ex-audios shipping account, if it’s good enough for one it should be made available to all.

Just checked one of the links on that guys site, looks like they "could" just be standard pictures as the same accesories are pictured with this screen too.
