I've rewired it and theres still no sound. Any ideas? i dont even get static.
The guy at circuit city said I need to power the POUR cable (blue) by tapping into the red power wire and putting a fuse on it. is this right?
I am fairly confident the issue may be in my blue POUR cable. As with Regal, my harness has a blue wire for the power antenna, but I dont know what to do with it other than connect it to the unit's blue POUR cable.

as PM'ed to you, the Pour wire is for activating a feature on the monitor, an "input wire" you hook it up to the fuse for your reverse lights and when you're in reverse, the display switches to video 2.
scrap the idea of trying to get the lilliput monitor to tell your factory amp to turn on, just splice your factory blue (amp turn on) wire into your factory red (sense ignition) wire.
This will at the very least give you some static when in radio mode, that's all I got.(due to other crazy problems with the unit)

But someone advise to buy this monitor??? Does it have to many cons than pros? i haven't paid yet but i've already did the "buy it now" thing, i think i can cancel it if it is not worth to buy because it's alot of money for me since my budget for a car pc is very low.
i would appreciate that someone would give a good opinion about it.

well i asked them (ex-audio) if they had it in stock ready to ship and they said the the item is already in stock and ready to ship, and then i asked if the problems that were found by many buyers and that complaint about it in forums and stuff like that were already fixed.... waitng for a reply for the moment (like you said 2nd batch of it would be preferable) and i will not know if i don't ask them . i hope i don't get any problems at all with it....hopping

Beware, I did all that, after buy it now I mailed them a few times to ask about stock and all the problems, In the end I was told the screen would be fine and they had personally checked it before dispatch, the rest of the story is on page 26 of this thread.
Personally, I wouldn’t pay anything and monitor this thread for a few weeks until you get the green light.

It worked! connected harness's blue wire to the red power wire with a fuse in between and I have sound. Will check speakers individually later. Also, radio only picks up country music.

That’s Confusing,
Either you have a different screen to me or they’ve printed the manual wrong, according to mine, the Blue (POUR) is not used?

My manual said the same as regals and I had audio and everything working without connecting the blue wire.... Weird...

Sounds strange that your wires weren’t labelled up and that you’ve had to connect the blue wire in order to get it working.
Did you buy it from ex-audio?
Can you post photos of the harness?

Also is your VGA cable the same as the picture on page 39?

sounds like I did a poor explanation. The blue POUR cable is hanging (not connected). The blue cable from the harness for the amp power (BMW specific?) is the one I spliced into the red power line with.
is there a way to insert an image from my hard drive? I can post some pics then.
My factory head unit (Alpine) had 2 cables in addition to the audio/power/etc jack. I know one of them connects to the antenna, but what is the smaller circular one for? It doesn't seem to fit on the Lilliput anywhere. I'll post a pic later.
