hey ppl,

i paid for the monitor this monday on ebay, i was stalling them like regal said to me until there is news about it but then i received a mail from them saying that all the problems that the monitor had are gone so, i paid this monday and i don't have until now any kind of news from them about my buy, will take any more time??? i already asked them when will i know anything about the shipment but no answer (it was on tuesday) i'm anxious about it, and it's my first internet buy, so for me it's lots of concerns...

I think the average waiting time is 1 month after your payment clears. Its been 3 months since I first ordered mine and I’m only just getting a replacement.

I could show you 15 emails saying don’t worry your screen will be fine and so on. but when it came it was still faulty.
I've just received a UPS tracking No for my replacement so I will let you now if there still having problems.

No refund for me either, I don’t have a recite for the return shipping so I don’t think I will be getting anything back.

I guess you didn't read the thread.

The majority of us bought the screen from a couple months back. We were sent a bunch of defects. Now we're waiting for replacements.

I got my refund back the other day. Minus shipping, 5% ebay and 5% paypal. Atleast I got something back. I'll take it.

I had a phone call from UPS yesterday asking me if it was a repair or a replacement, because it’s the later I have to pay again, he suggested I take it up with customs but I will still have to pay at the door.

Same problem here. Fedex is double charging me for duties and taxes. They told me to call them back on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday). The told me it was because ex-audio didn't fill out the documentation properly.

I certainly will take it up with them, what makes me mad is the guy from UPS said I need you to help me, is it a repair or a replacement, it depends upon your answer as to whether you get charged again but I'm not allowed to help you, just my luck I picked the wrong answer.

One thing I know for sure, I will never, ever, ever buy goods outside the UK again.

So my screens arrivs tomorrow according to fedex.com trackingsystem. But I have recieved a bill from fedex, thay want me to pay $37, I think it is for the shipping costs?

Anyway, I have already e-mailed Ex-Audio about this and Stephen Sin had promised me refund for shippingcosts so I'll just have to wait and see what the answers.

Well your lucky, mines still suck at the airport and has been there since Friday, just received this mail from UPS this morning.

I have checked with the brokers, and they require a proof of purchase and a proof of export for when you sent the goods out.
You will have to pay VAT on import even if it's a warranty replacement, so it's easier to enter it as a straight forward import, as duty will be written off as it's so low.
Can you please confirm it's OK for you to do that.
