I finally got my replacement today! Had to pay taxes and duties though. I'll have to talk to Fedex about that. It seems to be working. I've been tinkering with it for the past few hours.

They only sent the headunit. I'm using my original harness. I haven't checked for the speaker outputs. I won't be using the internal amp anyways.

Touch screen is working great.

How's the reflectivity of the screen, is it the same or has it been coated?

Why don't you order one and fined out for yourself.
Great customer service, 2 day UPS shipping.

I was just at the Lilliput factory near Xiamen, China yesterday. We convinced them that in order to maintain a high quality brand name they needed to do a recall. They told us they would be doing this as a sign of good faith and that they really want to stand behind their product. Details to follow in the coming days/weeks.

Very interesting...

So what about those of us who sent ours back, and got a replacement already?

Well my replacement screen has just arrived and if it works it will be a miracle, it came in a tatty squashed and ripped brown box held together with seller tape, the only other protection was a UPS plastic bag,

This is the same model as before using the same wiring & connecters.

My first impressions, 0 out of 10

I will give you an update later tonight when I’ve had chance to try it.

Replacement Update.

Guess what, I’ve just wired the screen up, turned the ignition on the screen tried to come out beeped twice and stopped. I turned the ignition back off then on again and the screen made a groaning sound but came out all the way. Now it will only work in VGA mode with no sound, nothing else works at all, and I mean nothing, the screen won’t go in or out, and it won’t work in any other mode but VGA.

What a load of crap.

That looks like a problem with the company you bought it from and the shipping company, not the product itself.

I don’t agree, it’s obvious the box was mended with seller-tape before it was put into the shipping bag, that would be down to ex-audio, if they can't be bothered to pack it properly they disserve all they get. In addition to that, if the box was used that makes me think the screen probably was too.

So were does that leave me 2 ½ months down the line and still I'm left with a useless product.

unbelieveable...

I feel your frustration Regal. I am very uneasy about the one I have now. It works great...for now. I'm not sure a couple months from now though.
