You should have sent it back to exaudio for thier experts to repair it, maybe then they would send it me as my third replacement.

yeah, ok like you just because a ******* plug that came off, i would wait 2 to 4 months to have a third replace... and more, spend money to send it to them. what da heck, i thought not this, it's just a plug that i can fix, opened gently, putted the plug back to place and now.... this, i'm just a little ****ed off (sorry regal). but now, i'm thinking of contact lilliput, send it to them and pay them to fix it... i just don't know what to do..

Had only 1 problem (until recently), looks like I had one of the second batch fron ex-audio - everything was working great apart from niose in the audio from my PC, I assumed it was just ground loop or something, put in an isolator,to no effect, checked the cables and the adapter between the back of the unit to the screw in connector looked "dodgey" so I asked for a replacement. Amy sent me a new cable and it had no effect - while waiting for Amy to confirm sending the unit back etc the soddin thing went nuts !
I touched the front screen clock button and the volume went VERY loud very fast and none of the buttons work anymore !
power disconnected, disconnected everything and still nothing - now waiting on ex-audio to confirm next move but it sounds just like one earlier in this LONG thread....
I have peeked behind the keys incase it was a stuck key or something and a small metal case transistor or something (cant quite see clearly) is barely 1mm away from a power IC right behind it - looks like they might have touched and fried something on the keyboard..... BAH !

Don't get chocked now...my second unit just broke down...Touchscreen worked randomly first, now it can't open/close the screen at all? Just beeps and closes directly...

And yeah, bought another screen from cartft.com tuesdays, got it yesterday, plug it in as the manuel said (Yes i checked all cables before connecting), and puff, a little cloud of smoke comes from the machine and I'm fast as hell running to get out the fuse and disconnect the power to it. It doesn't work anymore. What the hell is this? Is every screen i buy worthless? Why me....why me...Sending the units back, hope for warranty repair of both, this is not funny anymore...

Beat that....

Hello,

Dunno if you encounter the same pb, but for myself, when I let my car unused for more than 24hours the battery is dead....
So since I've installed this Lilliput, I need to unplug/plug again my battery every week-end, else every monday I can't start the engine....

Due to bad labels on cables, I've interveted red and yellow cables between my car and the Lilliput...

Does anyone has the same pb.

PS : my battery is nearly new, my car is only 20 000km...

Before your unit broke, How did you find your unit good?
Do the mecanicals look good ? (not a lot of noise when open/close)
Are you happy whith this unit before it brake?
