My third screen is on its way, I do hope this one works; it would be nice to write something good about these for once after 4 months and nothing but problems, Fingers crossed.

is the new person to contact in hong kong Amy? No more contacting Stephen Sin? even if he was struggling with his ability to relate his thoughts in english, he seemed to be good willed.

Me too with my second unit which has worked for 10 minutes. It's waiting in the box.

Yes Amy is the corespondant of Ex audio.
Stephen is the technical person. He is on travel at the moment so he is not joinable.

Well my third screen is at UK customs so with a bit of luck I should have it this week, I will let you all no what happens then,
Amy is the sales contact but she’s not new, I've had mail from her in the past, Stephen Sin makes promises but never delivers in my opinion, and at times he has been very rude and obnoxious.

How does EXAUDIO sell it to you? Via UPS?
because I have paid tax 2 times (whith esch unit I received)
Will you pay import taxe or customs know that is a replacement?

Unfortunately if the replacement is new you have to pay Tax, if it was repaired you don't, I'm told you can claim it back by phoning customs and explain to them you've paid before.
UK customs held mine for a week last time because Ex-Audio put warranty repair on the paperwork instead of replacement, I had to confirm in writing what the box contained before they would release it to me, I told the truth and paid the tax again to save any further delays

Hello,
I've encountered the same pb with the Radio plug at the rear of the Lilliput Unit...
I opened the rear panel and attached the Radio plug to it with some SuperGlue, since what it's holding & working...
Maybe that's not a solution, but for myself, I was having pb with buttons when the screen was out ( no possibility to change the screen position with ( ^ ) or ( V ). I've left my appartment for 2 weeks for a holiday break, and when I came back and tried it again : no more pb (Santa Claus action ???? )... The unit is perfectly working.... ( I just need to test AV1 & AV2 to confirm , I'll do it in approximatively 2 weeks, when my rearview camera 'd arrive. ).

I'm pleased to hear that M8, at least that’s one working,
Have you connected all the speakers up?
How long have you had the screen?

No, I only own 2 front speakers at this moment, but if this could be a pb,as soon as I buy rear ones, I post here ;-)
I was number 7 or 8 on the Audio Ex list.... I've got it since the 4th of August. ;-)

Wow, you’ve been very lucky, or I’ve been very unlucky, I think, a few buyers on this forum said the trouble started when they connected all four speakers up.

seems like when the radio plug falls into the machine and you take it apart to fix it, that's when the unit stops working completely. you said yours worked after taking it apart to fix the plug?
if so, maybe I should hook mine back up (1-2 months of sitting in a box) and it might work?
but then again, even if it did power back on, half the audio channels don't work, nore the touch screen.

The radio plug was originally soldered on a metallic part inside the lilliput. For myself, I retired the little 2-Screws part which was "holding" the radio plug, then I glued the radio part on the rear metallic panel. Technically, it must do the same, as the rear metal touch "touch" a lot of other metallic parts, and certainly the one on which it was soldered ( was I understandable ? ).
And AFAIK there's no (signal) return from either rear or front speakers, so normally autoradio shouldn't detect if there are 2 or 4 speakers connected, isn't it ?

Third replacement has arrived
Well my third screen has just arrived and I had to pay another £33 54 at the door, anyway this is different to the last two I’ve had, Very well packed and in a more professional looking box, I haven’t time to try it at the moment but it looks promising.
Update later today
