Well Ex-Audio insist I send the screen back again if I do that will be the fourth screen I’ve had from them, its just not cost effective anymore so I guess I’ll just have to admit defeat and lose £375. Even if they agree to a refund its still only half of what its cost me in total.

Don't Deal with these People Ex-Audio

Neither have I... Will have to leave negative feedback tommorow and report to Ebay...

I re-connected the screen, this time it neately went back into place slotted in all nicely then went completely off... Its now completely dead, no power at all

Going to request a refund and pay the extra to get it from the UK website http://www.carcomputer.co.uk £100 more but wouldnt have to pay the import tax for that one...

Be careful carcomputer also trade as http://www.lilliputuk.com/ but there not related to Lilliput in any way because I've checked, there just the same as Ex-Audio, a reseller, the only difference is there in the UK and charge double the price for a model that doesn’t have TV built in.
When I phoned them they told me they’d never had one returned faulty, personally I don’t believe that, that’s why I won’t deal with them.

I dont but Wolverhamptons a lot closer to me than Hong Kong I was planning on seeing if I can just buy one over the counter from them, then take it back to them personally if it doesnt work, saves air fair to Hong Kong???

I thought it did have the TV, it says on their website TV optional it looks identical to the busted ExAudio one and it said TV (Optional) on my box from ExAudio too??? I assumed the "Optional" meant if you choose to plug in an aerial or not

ExAudio would have cost me £260 + VAT (£305) + Shipping back broken/busted/faulty/dodgy unit £20 = £325

CarComputer = £361 + Petrol if unit doesnt work...

I paid £260 via Paypal (including shipping) plus tax at £17.5% - £305

I didnt know they did another motorised screen, do u know the model number of the one without the TV because I dont mind not having the TV I can have a look if I can find that one anywhere cheaper??? The only liliput motorised touchscreen that I found anywhere on the net was the same as the one I already have and that one has TV as its one of features that worked quite well before it broke

Wouldnt it be great if these screens had an emergency manual option like how CD drives have where u can poke them with a pin to eject a cd, maybe having a manual option to open and close the screen when the electronics fail would be a good addon...

don't think the problem of the faulty screens is a reseller problem but lilliputs problem ex audio just deliveres a very bad service. I think that the latest loads of screens are good otherwise they won't keep producing them
my 2 cents

Only trouble with that theory is, I've just received one of the latest batch and it too was faulty I do however agree with you about Ex-Audio, there service is diabolical
