Ok guys... it finally happened.

The touchpad has been intermittantly working when i first booted up ( i had to close and open it for it to work )

Now the touchscreen has totally stopped! it shows up when connected but the touchpad isn't responding.

I have re-installed the drivers and used system restore, still not working.

I have also tried it with another machine and no go...

I have been trying to contact ex-audio for a few days and haven't got a response so i have created disputes with both squaretrade and paypal...

just wondering if i should leave negative feedback for them on ebay with a link to this thread?..

oh well... i guess it's time for bed... hopefully i will get a response tomorrow!

I've been following this thread from the get go. Could you all post who you bought it from/got the replacement from, how long you had each unit before it stopped working and what happened before it stopped.

ie.
first unit - ex-audio - 2 weeks - Screen came out then died.
Sec. unit - ex-audio - 1 week - I farted near it and it died.

Give them negative feedback.....they will try to get it removed and then you will have them doing whatever YOU want!

first unit - ex-audio - Broken Touchscreen (UPS resposability) but unit blocked after radio try : screen can't close, press buttons doesn't do anything. -->UPS brings it and stock it.

sec unit - ex-audio - 2 min - screen tried to come out then died.

Like Regal "I cant afford to ship it back and pay duty again" so I asked Exaudio to re take the first unit.

Now I have got the 2 units broken and try to fix it..

I mean that I make agree with ex audio to give me me back the first broken unit in compensation of duties I paud on it.

Why? Are you looking to compile the results for something? Both Regal and myself tried to start a thread with a poll stating whether the unit is working or not and what your fault was but it has dropped down the list, what do people think is it worth doing another or reopening that thread? To be fair this is such a big problem it is worth the mod's stickying it especially as they said they were aware of the problem. Linky below:

i was searching for monitors indash with TS and i found (what i presume) to be the webpage from the makers of k301 and i saw a new one like this one from lilliput. with radio and tv and pre-amp of 40x4 called k500. anyone knows any more info about it????
