Actually, I just noticed that in the specifications, the input voltage is 10.8-13.8V. Does this mean there is built in circuitry to regulate the voltage?
I just want this screen to last. Pretty expensive investment!

I'm curious, why is the fuse on the switched power yellow VCC? Shouldn't it be on the constant power red batt?
Just to make sure, I connect my power supply wire to the red wire (BATT)? But that wouldn't be too good...the monitor would lose its settings everytime the computer shuts off wouldn't it?
i never figured out why there is a fuse there makes me wonder too...but the batt wire shud b connected to a constant source of o power and the yellow one is the ignition (tells when to shut off/come on)

Its the other way around. Yellow is constant and red is switched. Thats y yellow is fused. Also can u guys post some pics im really interested in this.
One more ques: does it have and rca audio out? Thanks

Yes, there are RCA audio outs. I will try to take some pics tomorrow before I install it.
I don't think Yellow is constant (at least not on the lilliput harness). Even in the manual, it says Yellow is switched, and Red is constant. On a standard harness, it is the other way around.
bran55, did you wire it up to an adapter? Did you just use the same colours? If so, Lilliput labeled the wires wrong.

WEll if u hook it up the other way around it just wont hold its memory. SO in that case just switch the wires around. Come to think of it i dont think it will even turn on if the wires are switched. But it would not make any sense for a switched wire to be fuses. U would want the constant to be fused. HMMM

That's true. It's not drawing any large current from the switched line. Unless, it uses the red wire as a battery backup, and draws the full current from the switched line. That would be weird. I guess I will have to try and find out.

Touchpanel
is anyone else having problems with the touch screen being flakey? Like getting it to work and then all of a sudden stop working? My computer see's it now as a "generic USB hub," when it used to see it as a touch screen? wtf is going on? any suggestions?

Hi,
I also have one of these monitors, I recieved it on wednesday and have been really happy with it until today when the motor jammed. It's currently stuck half open, I would advise anyone buying one to hold off for the time being. I have emailed ex-audio, I will also be contacting lilliput and will post if I get a satisfactory answer.
