If you can remember who you sent them with maybe you can search their web site using your address details to get the tracking number?

I had no luck with Lilliput and the firmware, but I have seen a new arrival of a Lilliput Indash monitor. A friend of mine got his a week ago and it is working so far, however I noticed that when you press the radio button, the screen doesnt go in...it stays open and displays whatever it was displaying...so it must be a new firmware. Unfortunatelly I cant get my hands on the monitor because it is already installed and not mine! Have they got it right this time? Time will tell...

Today my monitor extended, but instead of it flipping up, I heard two beeps, then the screen retracted and the unit turned off. I tried giving it a little nudge as someone else here did, but that didn't work. Is there a fix for this??

I cant believe you're all willing to just let audiocar get away with your $300 like thieves. I hate getting taken. My parents are going to hong kong in a few weeks, you think I should have them take the unit to Steven and demand a refund or at least an exchange for the new model?

and what about Lilliput's warranty sticker? Does that mean nothing?

Well what do you suggest?

I fort for over 5 months with ex-audio, eBay and pay-pal and still ended up with nothing. I received three replacements from ex-audio (audio car) and all of them lasted only minuets after connection.

eBay and pay-pal ask, or tell you to sort your problems out between the buyer and seller, they do this because when you do you end up running out of time to make a claim with them, there is no such thing as safe harbour when you buy from Hong Kong its all a big con.

This deal had cost me over £400 when I gave up, there is no point throwing good money away after bad on shipping, and import tax costs just to be lied to for well over a month and then receive another substandard Lilliput Product.

We know electrical items can all have faults but Lilliput indash screens seem to be made of them.

There was talk about Lilliput doing the honourable think and recalling these known substandard units but nothing ever came of it.

I begrudgingly paid the price fore a pioneer XR1 unit but it turned out to be the best move I ever made, why?

1/ I came on time and was properly packed.
2/ It worked first time and is still working.
3/ Great customer service, no lies after lies after lies and waiting for months.
4/ Reputable company with a good name.

Can Lilliput, Ex-audio, eBay, or Pay-pal match up to one of these points?
Can they F**K.

God that made me feel better.

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've checked on this forum. I'm sorry to hear how your deal ended regal, and everyone else who has given up on that poor excuse of a product.

I paid for a unit back in June, recieved mid August, broke 2 minutes after hooking up and have held onto the unit since.
I managed to get the "ok" for a return/replacement but I wanted to wait a while to see if lilliput put out a decent version of the unit.

I am sending the unit sometime next week, in hopes that Malebuffy is correct about a new firmware version.

If this doesn't turn out, I'll let everyone know. (if it doesn't turn out, I'll see if I can get store credit of some sort.)

Mr. Sin seems to be replying to my e-mail, 2 day delay, but replying none the less. I'm in a seemingly unique position about returning the product to hong kong... didn't have to pay duties/taxes when it came, and I have thier shipping info for returning.

again, I'll let you all know how it goes.

When new firmware will be more stable, we should aim to ask for flashed microprocessors (Syncmos 89516A) to the manufacturer to "UPGRADE" our faulty units.

I agree, but I wouldn't hold my breath about it... more likely they will want you to send the units back for repair at thier facility.

i ordered mine and it came really fast, it appears to work perfectly, apart from the front lights and clock not turning off and draining my battery, ive noticed there is a sticker on the back saying `ok b` which im not sure if it means "ok b stock" or something, at any rate it appears to be working perfectly for the time being, i must have opened and retracted it about 50 times and no problems thus far, i have until the end of the month to file my paypal claim, so heres hoping if it wants to **** up it ****s up soon!

any questions just ask!, my sincere regrets go to regal and the others here that have had problems with it...

thanks
