If we all pitched in $1 we could probably hire a mercenary to burn their warehouse down

If it's so bad, why it's so poppular and common used?
I don't think that the only reason is price, there are other
devices with similar prices.
And in same time, lot of users here use Lilliput?
May be this is acceptabile as price/quality?

Yes.
Normally you have got the latest one. Blue front VFD display instead of green and new buttons.

Both are home made....So you can't find them.
I have bought 3 of their f**king indash screen and all broke off after 5 or 15 minutes.
So I have modded one to make my own.
Look HERE and HERE for my work

Damaged Lilliput
I have been posting on another thread about an issue I've been having with my new lilliput. I also posted a video of the issue I've been having on you-tube.
The issue is that the motor sounds like it is struggling when coming out horizontally and will not rise vertically without a push. I tried opening up the unit, but was unable to position it in a way that I could test the motors without a cable snagging. I was wondering how I can open it up and test the motors safely? I don't want to remove the ribbons unless I have to and in the past I have not had a lot of luck with that. Will the screen even work if the ribbons aren't connected? I appreciate any help people can give me. Thanks.

Looks like my unit is DOA. I couldn't turn on the unit. Remote had no response.
Contacting Liliput and hope they can do something for me ASAP

Now, my screen just working fine
it wasn't DOA, just that I need to connect both Yellow and Red cables to my computer PSU.
After that my unit is working except the screen was flickering and shadowing.
Just tighten and loosen the video input help to stop it.
