I need a replacement for that switch as it has broken on mine so the screen only comes out and doesn't turn up

I think I have a picture up in this thread. http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/lcd-...01-tv-c-t.html
The switch is labeled 'K1' in the bottom left of the picture.

I agree with coucouillu though. That particular switch is extremely weak.

Hello,
after reading all negative posts here i still decided to give it a try...
So got one used on ebay... However the guy forgot to throw the owner's manual in and now i'm having some problems with the wiring and setup.
Can somebody give some advise on:
- power wires. on my unit I have one Red marked ACC with fuse on it and one yellow marked BATT. Where do they go?
- what are NE wires for?
- what is AUTO ANT? power antenna?
- how would they mark the dimmer wire - it seems there is no one on my unit
- how do i setup the clock

thanks in advance

Serial numbers for newer units

Does anyone know the serial numbers for the newer units? Here is a listing I have for the new and old:

The serial number to the old unit: 11701TV0070

The serial number for the newer unit: 701TV83451121 <-newest serial I could find.

Also what it the best way to bench test these units on a Computer power supply? Hook both yellow and red wires to the 12v on a PC power supply, and ground to the black wire?

You can try if you just want to test the screen.

I tested mine on a used car battery. It shows 1.5A when screen is working, 0.7A when screen is working without signal, 0.3A when it stand-by. That should be OK if you use a computer power supply. BUT, if you connect your unit which has amp and radio with speakers (I'm talking about GL701), forget computer power supply.

Hi all,

I am looking for donation about this product.

I am looking for broken units in order to finish hacking this unit.

The problem is that I only hacked the first models and many evolutions have been made since this time.

Thank you for your answers..

Exclamation gear problems?

I've had the Lilliput in-dash 7" model for half a year now. Everything works just fine except when I push the eject button for the screen to come out. I push the button, it slides out horizontally like normal then starts to go up and just stops. I haven't taken it out of the car yet and my uncle who's an electrician said it doesn't look like the motor is going out, just something is stuck in the gears. Anyone else have this problem? I tried the remote "up" button, and the up button on the screen and it won't go up but Im still getting video, audio from my pc. the radio still works, and the screen goes back in just fine. I don't hear any clicking or any noises that don't sound out of the ordinary.
