Ok I have found 2 choices for my screen
-Datalux 10.4" used and in good condition for $160 shipped
10.4" capacitive touch screen.
Thousands of colors.
640 x 480 resolution.
'Brite' active matrix.
12V DC operation.
External adjustment via 4-wire interface.

the 7" screen includeds a remote which kind of evens out the price difference. I'm looking for people to post there personal experience with the screens mentioned.

is that all? bit poor innit?

The 10.4" screen is likely only capable of RCA input, which would look marginal at best.
