Drivers for a NON touchscreen Lilliput?

Hey guys, I tried searching on this over and over but it's frustrating cause I only get threads refering to the touchscreen model, and not mine. I just bought this Lilliput off of a fellow board member (who I'm hoping will get back to me with the info :-) but being used it came with no remote or cd.. so I'm just looking to download the correct drivers for it, and yet, all I find are touchscreen drivers.. and I'm worried that it's unecessary to install touchscreen drivers if I'm just looking for the correct vga drivers and thats it.. can anyone help? Thanks so much!

Here's the screen:

vga drivers are for your motherboard. i dont think the screen needs drivers if its not touchscreen.

Oh really? That'd be cool.. I just wonder if XP has them built in, as it seems kind of a thing not many user would typically have.. I can try though.. any other suggestions before I do?

Your comptuer has a video adapter of some sort. It might be an add-on card in the AGP or a PCI slot. It might be built into the motherboard.
Etiher way, you should have drivers that came with the motherboard or witht he video adapter. If you don't have them, the drivers will be available from teh manufacturer's website.

This is basic PC-building stuff. If you're asking these sorts of questions, you're going to have a seriously rough go of it....

Ok, thanks for the advice. I'm afraid the question was misinterpreted though. I've actually been building PC's since I was 13 and repair them for a living heh. I wasn't asking how the drivers work, or how to get a monitor to work, I was just asking if I needed specific drivers for the vga monitor I was installing before I went plowing through it. (ie: some users need powerstrip to get the proper resolution or refresh rate) and I always make sure to change my monitor in my main systems from "default" to the correct monitor for peace of mind.. plus XP doesn't always do this.

Anyways, thanks for the advice, I've just never worked with touchscreen/could be touchscreen stuff and wanted to make sure I didn't go installing unecessary drivers, the system is actually totally built from spare parts, and I'm going to start putting it in today.

your are looking for the monitor profile. unfortunately there isn't one. even for the touchscreen models.
VESA standard resolve alot of problem but not all. the main problem is to do with the non-standard resolution that alot of the wide screen panel that we are using. Specifically the XENARC and Liliput panels are 800x480. which is a 5:3 ratio instead of the usual 16:9 ratio. To make the matter worse, most of the panel control boards use emulations which confuses the video cards. that is why alot of us has to use powerstrip to try to get the correct setting (with varying success)
