yes, usually each bin file is mb specific. It does flash the epiaM10k . Just tried it, but the video drivers seem to be off. It may be my system though. My machine is a mess right now.

According to Via its not
But, honestly I thought that was crap when I heard it. But then again, all the Mini-ITXs are the same form factor, and while the processors are different, if they are all the same family, I could see it working.
Like I said, I asked this specific question earlier today before posting, and they said as long as it was a CLE266 board, it would work... If someone can confirm if thats false, then I have something tractionable to go back to them with.

BIN mismatch is one thing, but when you put it into context with your screenshot, its easy to not understand what your saying. you show two bin files that are not related to the one in this thread...

Ok, I can confirm that the bios will flash to an epiaM 10k and the post screen reads bios version 1.17. There is no listing for the 800x480 resolution in the list all modes dialog of the adapter tab of the display properties window. However... my new Xenarc will lock on to 800x480 when I set the video configuration to 800x600@60hz. It looks nice, but I'm missing the bottom part of the screen. I'm guessing we still need a new video driver to accompany this bios...

check my firts post for the file.
Edit:
The .rar that i'm talking about comes with a new set of display drivers...
Also in VIA www you can find the newer ver (july 2005)

That 800x600 mode happens without this BIOS too.
Did you happen to see any mention of the 800x480 in the BIOS before booting into windows?
Here is what I have from Via test:

Dear Lily,
I've checked this BIOS and it has 800x480 resolution.
Best Regards,
James Lee
There is no mention of how they saw the size so I will try to get clarification, but if you can check the BIOS that would help eliminate that.
