Post Is this good for GPS?

Is this a good screen for a GPS hookup, and for fine print such as webpages, and word processors?

Nope. It is an NTSC monitor, and the resolution is not high enough to accuratly display the items you mentioned. The only way to go for those items is a VGA monitor. Expect to pay a bit more for a good VGA monitor. If you do some searches for VGA on this board you should come up with some good answers.
