I think Lilliput have got them right, it’s just that ex-audio choose not to send you one of them.
Fair point!

I'd like to see this poll up and running but I can't start polls. It'd add more weight to those of us who are trying to claim back our money.

Product. In-Dash Monitor <GL701-NP/C>
Supplied. Ex-Audio
Problems. Worked for 5 days until the motor froze, now only the radio works
Comments. "Hold back until they get this product right." Seconded, this has all the makings of being the best in-dash ever, nice attention to detail the button lights even fade out when in use but right now it is completely useless and they are failing all over the place
Out come. On going...
Rating:
Ex-audio 3/10 They deny there is a problem and are pushing for people to pay for the returns even though this is clearly a batch fault. They are also trying to get people to swap them for another of the same even though they don't have stock - And yes you've guessed it they are still selling them on ebay despite having no stock
Lilliput 0/10 Never replied to a single email, appear to have washed their hands of this problem, what amazing customer service..

Don't suppose you want to start mass producing them? You would probably give better customer service! (Can't you tell this is getting to me??!!)

First, it was a personnal need (8 month ago) because there wasn't any insah screen on market.
I began my own indash lilliput and 6 month ago, there were indash touchsreen but not Lilliput.
And then, since 1 month ago, Lilliput is trying to sell their products but with the motors problems you know.
There are too many modifications to make it work (I am on it since months) in order to hope sell it!!
I could not compete Lilliput because they are too strong and they are from Honk kong (low costs) and I am from FRANCE (high costs)
I have bought a bad indash screen 270€ + 1 touch 7" lilliput 300€+ parts electronics + other.
It is not as usefull as Lilliput indash, but at the moment it is good enough for me. When Lilliput will make good products, I'll buy them one.

I finally got my alarm installed on Friday. And Yesterday I attempted to install the Lilliput in-dash HU. And it finally happened. Yup you guessed it, now the screen does not flip out any longer. My unit was working fine before I connected the wires for the radio (Auto Ant). It got stuck right after I pushed the radio button; the screen mechanism stopped working altogether. After a few seconds of pressing the On/Off TFT Screen botton it just beeps twice (??).
Also the speaker wire labels for my HU was totally *** backwards, which leads me to believe that all the wiring for this HU are wrong. I was successful in getting 3 of the 4 speakers connections hooked up the way it should, however, I was unable to get any sound to play from the front right speaker. And I know it wasn’t nothing wrong with my speaker because its working fine now after installing my factory stereo back into my car.
I'm so fudging ****ed at LilliSUCK right now...
