This poll is to see just how many people have received one of these new Lilliput screens and wether it’s working or faulty.

Well I had a go after reading the instructions in the FQA,
To create a poll when you post a new thread, simply click the 'Yes! post a poll' checkbox at the bottom of the page, and set the number of possible responses you want to include.
I didn’t get this option when posting what did I do wrong?
I would delete this thread if I could

From my personal experiences, these motorized screens are not "there" yet.... mine has to be shipped back again since the motorized motor doesnt flip the screen up anymore (not Armen's fault by any means, its just that the screens arent quite "there" yet like i said)

Well really companies like kenwood and clarion have been making motorised screens for some time, it's only having motorised vga touchscreens that's new concept.

I tried to make a poll, and couldn't! There's no poll check box like there is on other forums.
So, either were both blind, or there's something screwy going on here.

right, cravex... but the problem is that companies like kenwood and clarion dont offer resolutions as high as 800x600 yet so that we can plug a VGA cable to it and get aux video input! (im still waiting for that...)

Sure but my point is that the motors required for these screens have existed for some time now so there really isn't any reason why there shoud be such a problem getting them or making there own ones work.

Might be because we are newbie's, not enough points, or something like that.

Probably so
Oh, and Cravex is right, there's really no reason in 2005 to make a motor that doesn't work. I guess Clarion and Kenwood just have more experience. Liliput and Mp3car should be able to figure it out, though!

I think Lilliput have got them right, it’s just that ex-audio choose not to send you one of them.
