Post Yellow Streaks across my LCD

Sometimes, but not always, I get yellow streaks going horizontally across my 10.4 touchscreen. It is usually fixed by cutting power to the screen for about 10 seconds or rebooting. The best way to describe the streaks is that it looks like somebody ****ed on the screen and it is flowind sideways from left to right. Sometimes everything on the left has a yellowish tint and only a few lines on the right do.

I don't think it is the screen, because when I turn off the computer the streaks dissappear (the screen turns blue indicating no input). I thought it might be a power/ground issue so I rewired it this weekend while I was in New Orleans, and I don't think I fixed it.

It used to only do this in RealJukeBox and I could restart RJB and it would be fine. Now when it does it it begins at startup and affects all my programs (RJB and GPS, as well as the WinME desktop).

What do you think? I don't want to bias anybody by stating what I think the problem is, so all suggestions are welcome.

Sounds like a somewhat simplistic answer, but it sounds like you're describing what happens to my desktop computer if I put my speakers too close to the monitor. I've got these monstrous PC speakers and if I arrange them too closely to the monitor I get yellow streaks (and a pink and purple one at the bottom too gotcha there!) through the monitor. In my case it was the magnets in the speakers distorting the monitor . . . any chance it's something like that here? Not likely, but I had to ask . . .
