Question A good cheap LCD screen for $170 CDN? Maybe...

I'm seriously considering this for my screen. With a little modification to my dash and some fiberglass here and there, I'm thinkin this could work. Mind you I wouldn't actually be using the speakers but with the possiblity of me adding a psone in the near future, and the a/v inputs, this wouldn't be a bad deal. Here's the link to theIGN review of it and on the right is a link to the company's web site. I saw one in Future Shop for about $169 CDN, and stupid me didn't buy it.

Anyone's opinion on how well this would work for a Windows desktop enviroment with winamp?

i've seen one of those lcd's, the quality wasn't very good even plugged into a playstation. however, circut city had one in todays ad for $150. remember it is a 4" lcd so at this price it woull make more sense to buy the $99 parts express lcd

Thumbs down

I just read that IGN review, and I think that is the ONLY positive review of these PSOne screens I have ever read since they were introduced. Other mags like EGM, PSX, etc etc are raving about how much it sucks, especially for the price that they are offered for. There used to be two companies that made such screens (for the same price), but one of them did a redesign and upped the quality on the speakers a notch, but they also upped the price a bit too (I think). You also have to go fishing into all the boxes to make sure you got one of the "newer" models, since both the old and the new models were packaged in the same box.
