One thing to keep in mind is that the one in the above auction doens't include a power adapter (it's powered by the PS ONE console)

Do you know if it just doesn't include a power adapter or dosn't have a plug for one? Is there a Web site for Rosen?

Artemk, there is a website, but it has no info re: this unit. I got some specs from Outpost.com and it states that the unit requires 7.5v power, but on none of the sites that carry this unit state the PS as being included, nor did the packaging that I saw contain a PS.

I built my own power supply with an LM317T from radioshack.
Very easy to do. Just puts out a bit of heat. Much easier than an inverter.

This is the one made by Rosen. I bet the resolution is the same and it is a lot bulkier. I love this PS1 display (by sony). I can see it in direct sunlight almost!! You can't beat 300 nits. well, you can, but not for $109 US

Artemk.

yeah i realize that those speakers are going to suck, but im planning on putting my original playstation in my car, but im gonna use a bigger screen than the 5" ps1 screen. i was inquiring because i was going to see if anyone would want to dismantle their ps1 screen and sell/donate the audio portion to me. that way i can have a premade audio setup for the playstation, without having to rig up something that has audio controls with small speakers and a headphone connection.

im NOT going to use those speakers to play any car audio.... wouldn't playing it on little 1" speakers defeat the purpose of putting a stereo in the car for mp3s
