HEY ALL!!
IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE I'VE POSTED, SO PERHAPS YOU CAN CUT ME A LITTLE SLACK...I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN A VERY DISCUSSED TOPIC, WHICH I SEARCHED AND LOOKED INTO, BUT THE PROBLEM I RAN INTO WAS THAT SUGGESTIONS WERE MADE, AND PEOPLE DON'T FOLLOW UP TO SAY WHAT THEY DID, AND WHAT WAS SUCCESSFUL. SO I'LL ASK THE QUESTION FROM SCRATCH, AND SEE IF YOU CAN HELP. i WOULD LIKE TO CONNECT 5 TOTAL MONITORS TO THE COMPUTER. THE 1ST IS MY VGA MONITOR, AND ALL THE OTHERS ARE LCD SCREENS. THE ONLY VGA SCREEN I HAVE IS MY 12.1" TOUCHSCREEN WHICH IS MOLDED INTO MY DASH. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY FOR ME TO GET ONLY THE SAME VIDEO TO ALL MY OTHER SCREENS? I HAVE AN ATI VIDEO CARD (UNFORTUNATELY RIGHT NOW I'M NOT SURE WHICH ONE, BUT THERE IS AN 'S' VIDEO OUT BUILT INTO IT). I UNDERSTAND THERE MAY BE AN ISSUE WITH VIDEO SIZE ON THE DIFFERENT SCREENS. THE HEADREST MONITORS ARE 7" VIZUALOGIC SCREENS, AND ONE DROP DOWN IS A 13" SCREEN AND THE OTHER DROP DOWN IS A 14". I'M NOT SURE WHAT THE SUPPORTED RESOLUTION IS ON ANY...

dont CAP CRAP lol weve all accidentally left it on without knowing

anyway as to the best way u might want to try splitting yout vga and running one of those vga>svideo/composite outs and then run that to the 13 in
the others you can probably piggyback off of the ati svideo out


the advantage youd be getting is that you can adjust the screen size independandly on each screen type (7in or 13 in)

i have a vga/ composite out external card the quiality sux on it but if your going to the meet ill bring it and you be the judge
