Have you tried using the calibration program? I have definitely heard of others with similar experiences, but I never had this problem. I also NEVER had to calibrate, so sounds like bad news...
Good luck.

Yup you have a bad touch overlay, that is the normal problem that happens to them.

Actually I think it's combination of UV and heat that causes the plastic to separate from the glass substrate. I hear that the newer touch overlays don't have this problem. Other than that I dont know, I have had the same touch overlay now for the last 2 years so maybe it was just a huge batch of bad ones.
Yes it's very easy to change, all you do is cut the tape holding the old overlay on, then tape on the new one.

Wow, so I guess the newer ones still have the problem, that sucks. Maybe send a e-mail to the person you purchased it from, maybe they can get you a new touch overlay under warranty

easy solution!!!! when you calibrate do the most point cal & touch all the edge dots more to the center of the screen... you can change how the touchscreen reacts through calibration..... you don't HAVE to touch right were the dot is..... play with this to see what I mean..... been doing this for a long time, when it's set right it works good enough that you can touch the very edge.... I use a hidden start bar & can even bring that up with a touch
you can compensate for inacuracys in touch this way....try it , it works...
