Question noritake vacuum flourescent display

I have recently been biten by the MP3car bug and bought a noritake 4x40 VFD (new off ebay for $25.00 but it didnt have any manual with it) that is an LCD drop in replacement. It seems to work ok, but every LCD display plugin seems to have some sort of problem. I have just started using lorty's plugin (regerstered version) and not only are lines 2 & 3 swapped but lines 3 & 4 can only display out to 10 columns. Has anyone ever used one of these? Would anyone with more experience with this style of display point me in the right direction to get the bugs out of this display!!!

Also, does anyone know how to change the opening and closing displayed infomation using lorty's plugin?

Thanks,

Mike

Are you sure it's a 4x40? I've never even seen one before! You might have got the deal of a lifetime
