Angry No Display Prior to Windows on lilliput

Hey, I've done a on this...but didn't find a whole lot.

When I turn on my car and the puter turns on, my lilli shows the Motherboard "splash" screen (or whatever you call it) but nothing else until the windows "splash" screen comes up while windows is loading.

Which isn't a problem, until there's a problem with boot up, I can't see what the problem is on my lilli. I have to lug my desktop monitor out to my car and plug it in just to find that it is asking if I want to "delete restoration data and restart computer" or some nonsense like that.

My question is, how do I get my lilli to show all the boot up processes? Is there a setting in the bios or anything?
Anybody else had this problem?

Oh... I have an epia m10000.

IIRC its something to do with the Screen options in the BIOS.
Change it to an 800x600 LCD + CRT
and try again

turn off the 'display logo' options in the bios and youll see the normal post data you get with most other machines

You won't see anything as the mobo is outputting the display at too high or low a refresh rate, hence over range message.

Only thing that will sort this is fiddling with the display settings in BIOS. Nothing to do with logo's or POST screens...

que?

I didnt see him say out of range message - he said mobo splash to windows splash, the only mobo splash I can think of on the 10k is the logo. Yeah mess with resolution or refresh if its out of range...

anyway, what car did you get now?

I had the same problem but I was loading the system off a laptop when I had the Lilliput so it was never a problem.

Lol but unfortunately true, especially with fuel now rising to over £1 a litre in some places!
