xenarc 700y-yv problem

Hi,
I have a xenarc 700yyv(same as 700tsv I guess).A while ago there was something wrong with the vga of my motherboard and since then the xenarc screen won't display any image anymore.I can still see the menus but all settings are frozen at 0 .I can only change the backlight setting.The only way to have it repaired is to send it to xenarc in the usa.A replacement board costs 114 dollar without shipping costs.I live in Belgium and sending it to the usa is very expensive if you want to do it in a secure way.Does anyone know what could be the problem of the screen ?I think I better buy a new linitx if I can't fix it myself,It will be cheaper in the end I guess.Thanks for the replies!!!!

I have a board which does this too. settings at 0 and no video. You could try and wait for a second hand xenarc controller or if you are molding your screen in then obtain a contorller second hand - i believe that the liliput and linITX controllers may work - even though the panel is different so this may be worth a try - but they wont fit in the casing. Alternatively you could just buy a linITX, as you say, and sell the parts of the broken Xenarc (give me a shout on PM if you plan to do this
