Starvision Monitor Dies

Yup...I thought something might have been unplugged and I double checked all my connections and my touchscreen monitor has kicked the bucket. In order to ensure that my connections were accurate/good, I connected a friends monitor to the power cable (another Starvision) and that powered on fine. I'm not sure what I'm going to do at this point, needless to say I am quite frustrated and ****ed. Oh well.....I am sure there will be no warranty support on this unit. BTW, I had it connected to a ITPS 12volt output, do you think this has anything to do with it?

tell me about it...I'm now wondering what is most likely to fail in these monitors....I don't think its the actual monitor but maybe the powersupply or controller...thoughts?

It has actually been open for most of its life as I molded it into my dash...using a lilliput case...lol. I'm not sure what to look for quite honestly and I was frustrated once I found out that it died...so I put everything back together...people now ask...what is that a TV...no I say...a dead computer screen.

Your thoughts on what to look for?
