cant get full screen

i have a 7: lcd connected to the tv out on my carputer, the problem is theres a black border about 1" wide around the whole sceen, any ideas whats wrong (the resolution is at 640x480 or 800x600 and more or less the same problem

Check your graphics properties (advanced) for a fullscreen (no borders) option commonwith intel 845 chipset.

just checked theres no option there any other suggestions
