Is this the thing that projects an image on fog?

Not on fog, just in air above the unit.

if you watch the vids, its like a flag blowing in the wind, it waves at the top of the image, something must be being blown upwards like a clear fog?
How would you illuminate a clear fog? or clear air?
it says outdoor use in crosswinds a problem, so something is being put in the air above the unit.
bloody good though.

That company has been developing that product for awhile now, I think it was on slashdot a while ago. It uses water vapor to project the image on to.

so it does use fog, IE water vapour=fog.
Its pretty amzing, useless, but amazing.
And by useless I mean we already have 2d displays, what can it do that any other 2d cant?
If its projecting onto fog/water vapour, whats the advantage over doing it onto say a thin plastic sheet ?

its so people can pass thought you could have ti setup so fog is blowing down the doorway with the projector showing people stuff like inside we have a special on waffle machines? lmao
But this is very simple to make yourself but you do however have to work out how to make it stream downwards and not eveywere like normal fog/mist would.
EDIT:
oh i got a good idea for it's use
use mist in a waterpark so when your sliding down on a tube it can display images to give u the illusion your gonna hit something of course it won't look as real but you could create theamed rides like a waterslide tunnel to do with batman images showing in the mist or even having a type of entertainment in a outdoor pool area to watch stuff while swiming or relaxing

While that would rock, you'd have ALOT of issues with the air tubulance in a water slide, the water, the fat kids, and the taxes, don't forget the taxes.
