Xenarc cable problem

I have an old version of the xenarc 7" monitor, with serial touchscreen. The cable that goes to the multiplug has become lose and now needs to be moved about to get a signal on the screen. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix for it?

Any help much appreciated. Have emailed xenarc but no response as of yet.
