Looking at a Mobile Authority 5.6 inch LCD for $169US with free shipping. Question is, does this screen do well with a car mp3 player with DVD? I know the text for the OS will be small, but if I used Cobra III or similar to have mp3s and dvds going would it look ok? I know the best way to go is VGA/SVGA but we all know how expensive that can be. So any reviews from people who have this screen would be helpful. Thanks!

CobraIII will work fine with even 4" TFT screen. You just have to increase the txt font on any of its screens. As far as VGA/SVGA goes, keep in mind that most of them only do 640x480 which to me is lame and stupid. Some DVD players will not even play at this resolution. You can get active matrix screen even cheaper than those VGA/SVGA.

Thanks! So then I might just go this way...anyone know if Mobile Authority are good enough quality wise? I've heard both ways...
