LCD hook up question

Is it possible to hook a lcd with parallel connector up to a parallel > serial adapter? Or do you actually have to use the parallel port?

Yes, but u will need source code. I recall 2yrs or 1yr ago some site had that info. I wont recommend it at all.

just use the parallel port..... you can by LCD displays with a serial interface, they are more expensive though and the software needs to support them.... if your cutting your own software that may not be a problem.

Scott Edwards Electronics sells them? from memory? (which is poor!)

I was asking because I cant find the parallel connector for my comp. If its not easy then I won't worry about it though.
