New SP-716 Not Ejecting

I just got a new SP-716 In dash LCD and when I hooked it up I couldn't get it to eject properly. When I first hooked it up, all the lights came on and but no buttons worked except for the buttons dealing with the clock. Then after a sec or two they would all flash on and off. I eventually got the eject button to make some movement but it never got all the way out. I have not mounted it or anything yet so screw length shouldn't be an issue. I am not sure what is wrong. Does anyone have any ideas for me to try?

Wow you just described precisely what happens whne there is a physical jam.. Did you remove the tape/packing materials? There's a wedge of some styrofoam or something stuck in there for shipping..
?

yes, I removed all the packing materials that I could find. The screen made it most of the way out once so I am positive there is nothing left. What can I do from here?

It is wired thank you.
