Question K301 - Problem with Remote output

Hi there,

totally new here and already my first question

I had no problems when installing my K301 InDash TFT, but there's one problem: I'm not able to get any signal from the remote output, I'm always measuring +1,45V no matter if the display is switched on or off. Anyone else with the same problem?
I wanted to turn on/off my CarpPC (which sits in the back) through the K301, now I had to connect it to my ignition switch instead.
This is a problem if the PC is crashing while I'm driving, I have no option to reboot it.

Regards,

Nils

anyone think its a remote IN wire? like send 12v into that blue wire to tell the screen to turn on...

edit: nevermind, i'm an idiot.. the accon wire would tell the screen to turn on, having the remote wire do that sounds redundant

after reading the manual, my guess is you can solder that wire to somewhere behind another device's IR port, to use the IR receiver on the K301 as the "ir receiver" for an external device, which sounds like a pretty good idea
