Hi all,
I have a 18inch LCD monitor (NEC Multisync LCD 1830) that stopped displaying anything on the screen (well it occassionally does for a couple of minutes). The led display communicates to me that there is no signal in the cable (even though there is) but at the same time the "no signal" message does not come up on the screen (the screen remains totally blank)- even when no CPU is connected. I'm no rocket scientist but I suspect the AD board may have gone bad. Does any body know where I can get a replacement for it? The NEC website has not been of any help and lcdpart.com does not have the part in stock nor do they know where I can get one. Maybe I should get a new monitor but I am kinda attached to this one.
Please excuse me if I am using this forum wrongly, and if you think I should get my problem out of here then someone please just politely tell me so. I would really appreciate any help I can get (a pointer in the right direction is most welcome).
