Compaq is really making me mad!
check out this crap out. They want give me the pinout for my lcd =(
Those "poop heads" at compaq. Anyone have suggestions?

Sorry to dissapoint you however I seriously doubt that anyone at compaq really knows the pinout. The original engineer might have the white pages. However they use other peoples components (lot's of LG cause that's who owns them)

well, I fially got the mfg and lcd # so Now Im trying to get ahold of Toshiba =)

Well, since you're offering...heh. I happen to have the plasma screen from a compaq portable II (http://www.fortunecity.com/marina/reach/435/compaq3.htm)...I think the controller is onboard..don't happen to have those pinouts by any chance..?

gees thats old stuff !!! got a pdf file on the spare part no's but mostly discontinued.
got to find a copy of an old quick find cd to see if i can get you more info... when i have a spare hour i will go through our library and see if any books are left......
